Trocadero Palace, sheltering the biggest ever built concert hall, had to survive the International Fair (1878). Built by the architect Gabriel Davioud ( 1824-1881 ) and engineer Jules Bourdais ( 1835-1915 ) . The name of Trocadéro is linked with the victory of the Duke d’Angoulême to Andalusia in 1827. A legend claims that an echo in the hall widely contributed to make destroy this monument …
